Game Design
From mods for existing games to proper coding of original work, the art of game design has been a passion of mine for years.
This page will show you three specific projects of mine.

Ragtime Run
This is my freshmen college game design project. It is an infinite runner game made using C# and the Unity engine. The game was made and iterated upon over the course of half of the semester. Screenshots are provided, as well as a link to download it yourself.

Unfortunately, due to file size limitations, downloading the game requires a few steps.
To download the game, go to the link below to open the zip file in your Google Drive, download and open the zip file, and run 'Project 1.exe'.
I apologize for the inconvenient method.

A thousand feet under
A Thousand Feet Under is a work-in-progress quest mod for the game Fallout: New Vegas. Those familiar with the game will be able to easily understand the concepts of the story.
A Thousand Feet Under takes place in the ruins of Vault 10. The player, along with a group of scavengers, gain entrance to the vault, which they believe to be abandoned. However the vault has not been abandoned. Aside from the usual nests of mutated creatures roaming the underground halls, the vault still contains one survivor, a malicious overseer who traps the player and their party within their metal tomb. With no other options, the player must follow the orders of the overseer, all the while searching for a way to confront their tormentor and escape. |
Custom textures for A Thousand Feet Under were made with Gimp using a .dds plugin. Custom textures will be pointed out in image descriptions, anything else was an existing asset within the game (but were all still hand-placed).
The number 10 on the vault door was a custom addition.
The chart in the corner of this image uses a customized texture as well.
Existing numbers on vault jumpsuits and security armor were doctored out and replaced with the number 10.
APCSP final project
My final project for APCSP (Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles) was a very primitive game developed using C# on Visual Studio 2015. The game's primary mechanic involves a random-number-generator combat system. The player will choose between a ranged and melee strike, and 'roll' a number to determine a hit, miss, critical hit, or critical miss. If the player defeats an enemy, they can choose to loot items as a reward. Items can be sold in exchange for medical kits and ammunition in the Durmire Village, the southwest-most location.
As the video above says, this game is extremely basic. I do plan on continuing to work on this project, fixing existing issues and adding new features.
