Below you will find a list of volunteer, work, and extracurricular activities that I have participated in, along with bullet-point descriptions of each activity.
Internship experience
JEMA Architects
Architecture firm based out of St. Louis, MO.
Time Commitment: 1 year (grade 12). 1 week, 55 hours.
Details of involvement: As part of a 1 week internship at JEMA, I used a software called SketchUp to model a design for a building, as well as its surrounding area. The building I was told to redesign was an old dog-daycare center, which JEMA hoped to buy and turn into their new main office.

Extracurricular / volunteer service
TechHOunds
Carmel High School Team 868 of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition.
Time commitment: 4 years (grades 9 - 12). 6 weeks per year, 15 hours per week. Details of involvement: I spent my first year on the team as part of the Robotics Operations division. In this division, I helped design and build the robot and its attachments to be used in the competition. My next three years were spent in the Construction division, where we would build practice fields for the robot, as well as tool carts and other useful resources for the other divisions. Team accomplishments: Chairman's / Engineering / Quality awards. Entered 2017 World Championship in St. Louis, MO. |

Invention made as part of robotics team in middle school. Patent application was carried over into my freshman year of high school.

Time Commitment: 1 year (grade 12). 1 week, 12 hours. Details of involvement: This program provided basic introductory lessons and activities on the subjects of web design, programming, graphic design, circuitry, virtual reality, and cyber-security. |
Design works
Architecture course at Ball State's School of Architecture.
Time Commitment: 1 year (grade 11). 2 weeks, 80 hours per week. Details of involvement: In this program I worked with other high school students on architectural projects, designing things like houses, streets, and commercial buildings. The program was overseen by School of Architecture professors, and earned me 3 college credits for Intro to Architecture, Landscape & Urban Planning. |
Teen Art Council
Located at the Indianapolis Art Center.
Time commitment: 1 year (grade 9). 20 weeks, 3 hours per week. Details of involvement: Myself and a group of other students would organize group art projects to create and install. We would also volunteer to help manage gallery shows in the art center. One project we did, a wall mural of train cars, can be seen in the artwork page of this website. |
Carmel High School Art Club
Time Commitment: 1 year (grade 9). 1 week, 2 hours.
Details of involvement: As part of a charity event for the Carmel Education Foundation 5K run, I helped man the face-painting booths by painting patterns and images on people's faces using water-based paints.
